"Penny is doing wonderful. She is really good about letting us know when she needs to go the bathroom. She either whines or goes to the door. She has only had two accidents and both were our fault. She was whining and we thought it was about something else but turned out that she was telling us that she needed to go the bathroom.
At night, she sleeps in a crate in our room. She has been sleeping on average of two to three hours at a clip before needing to go the bathroom. Last night, we got lucky and she slept for four hours before needing to go out!
Everyday she grows more brave and explores the yard (while on a leash). At first she just wanted to do her business and come right back in. Now she is out longer. Also, she is starting to walk up steps, but isn't quite sure about going down them yet.
Also, she is growing rapidly. I think her paws have doubled in size since we brought her home. She spends most of her time playing and sleeping.
By the way, her official name is Onyx's new shiny Penny.
We are having a joy raising our puppy. She is extremely adorable."

"Hi Bianca, Just wanted to let you know that we named the pup Reginald, Reggie for short. It fits him well. He is such a good boy! He hardly barks at all and is so mellow. He plays with Michele and I think he is going to be an excellent addition to our family. It's obvious he has had a lot of love in his life and I thank you for that."

"PS I think even our cat, Boots, who is currently in my lap, is going to love him."
"When we brought her home on Friday, she was very shy and hardly ate or drank. She really opened up on Saturday. Eating and drinking on her own. I keep the food out all day. Our yellow lab has eaten a couple of bowls of it already..lol... she LOVES my daughter. she already has Kailie trained.. a little whine from Trixie and Kailie picks her up. Friday, Trixie was up every couple of hours, but last night she slept the whole night!! We are training her on pee pads right now until it gets a little warmer and she is so smart!! She loves to play. My labs are still getting used to her, but my “Momma” Yellow lab lets her lay next to her and even gives her kisses. WE LOVE HER SO MUCH!!! Trixie will really be missing Kailie tomorrow when she is at school. We are taking her to the VET’s today for a check up. Oh, I forgot to mention, Trixie and our one cat Daisy play with each other, it is so funny. Trixie is giving lots and lots of kisses.
Thank you sooo much for bringing up such a wonderful baby."
