Our puppies are examined by our vet at seven weeks of age and come with a health certificate.  They are wormed at 3, 5  and 7 weeks old and receive their first vaccinations at seven weeks old.  Puppies are also vaccinated for Kennel cough at 5 weeks of age and will need to have a booster of this from your vet.    All puppies are kept until at least 8 weeks of age so we are sure they are eating and drinking properly. 

Shipping--  I will ship puppies provided I can use Continental Airlines.   Also, this will be weather permiting.   Shipping will be extra and the price will include the vet visit, crate and shipping fee.  If you're interested in having a puppy shipped please contact me for more information.  All shipping fees and payment in full for your puppy must reach me 10 business days in advance of the shipment of your puppy.

Full registration is available upon request with an additional $100.00 fee to approved small breeders or for people interested in showing their puppy.   All puppies sold as pets will be sold with no AKC papers unless otherwise agreed upon.   My dogs are AKC registered  and any pedigree can be shown upon request.    

We ask that if you have no plans on breeding or showing your puppy that you please spay or neuter your pet at six months of age.  This will keep them healthier and prevent unwanted pregnancies.  PLEASE BE A RESPONSIBLE PET OWNER!

We require a down payment of $100.00 to hold the puppy of your choice.  We accept postal money orders for deposits.    Deposits are non-refundable but will be considered on a case by case basis.  Deposits must be received with in five business days to hold your puppy until it is eight weeks old.  The only excetpion is if your puppy you have placed a deposit on is found to be ill with a serious illness and will not recover and  can not be placed in your home or the puppy passes away.  In this case you the buyer will have the option of placing your deposit on another puppy or the next litter or I can refund your deposit.

I suggest you make an appointment in advance for your puppy with a vet for when you bring your puppy home as it needs to be seen by your vet within 10 business days of coming home to make sure no health issues have been overlooked.  I must have in writing from your vet within five days time of diagnosis any health issues your puppy has had within the first ten days of coming home.

Also, the puppies will be in need of several more rounds of shots to keep them healthy so please keep them up to date on all shots and  have your vet worm them as he sees fit to help keep them healthy. 

Please be very careful with your puppies  until they have had all rounds of puppy shots and rabies. They will need to be kept away from other dogs, places where other dogs have been or puppies for the first several months until they have had their shots and its safe for them to be around them.  Young puppies can easily get very sick from many things  such as parvo, distemper, parainfluenza, kennel cough and hepatitus if you don't take proper precautions with them.   After they have had all puppy shots its also very important you keep them up to date on all booster shots and keep them wormed as well as they get older to keep them healthy. 

All puppies are sent home with a care pack that includes a toy, puppy chew bone, a sample pack of food and a blanket with mom and littermates scent unless being shipped. 

NOTE.... LONG HAIR DOXIES DO NOT NEED TO BE TAKEN TO A GROOMER.  THEY ARE EASY CARE!  JUST BATH AND RUN A BRUSH THRU THE COAT A FEW TIMES A WEEK.  THEY DO NOT NEED TO BE TRIMMED UNLESS YOU WANT TO  TRIM THE HAIR ON THE FEET TO KEEP THEM CLEANER.  PLEASE CONSIDER A WONDERFUL LONG HAIR DACHSHUND! THEY HAVE VERY LOVING PERSONALITIES AND MAKE WONDERFUL PETS!

I will not sell to puppy brokers or puppy mills.  I will sell to responsible small breeders who intend to improve the breed and provide loving and stable homes for my babies.   NO PUPPIES WILL BE SOLD TO LARGE BREEDERS WHO KENNEL THEIR DOGS! SORRY! 

If you are unable to keep your puppy that you have bought from me PLEASE contact me.  I will not be able to refund your money but I promise to do my best to find a loving home for you dog.  They will always be welcome back into my home!
